Central Lonsdale Rezoning

Onni Group of Companies is in the planning stages for the redevelopment of the former Safeway site on the Northeast corner of Lonsdale Avenue and 13th Street. The original rezoning submission was made in December 2010, with a second submission made in April 2011 that incorporated feedback from City staff and residents. City Council encouraged Onni to attend APC and ADP meetings, and continue to engage residents and businesses for feedback. After 8 months of public engagement and design sessions, Onni is pleased to re-submit the 1308 Lonsdale application that incorporates extensive community, business and city staff feedback.

Our plan includes mixed-use, sustainable, transit-oriented components that will create an attractive architectural landmark at this important Central Lonsdale corner. We want to make sure the new mixed-use proposal includes the needs and wants of the people of North Vancouver. We want to continue to engage the community to help us make this development define the future of Central Lonsdale.
